Merry Christmas to ALL!

We've had such a wonderful Christmas so far!  We went to Grandma's and Grandpa's Saturday for a sleepover.  We spent it with cousin Ethan and Auntie Bee & Uncle Ben.  We got to go to Grandma & Grandpa's church on Sunday, and celebrate Grandma's birthday on Sunday too.  We Skyped our Texas cousins as well, and had ice cream birthday cake.  Then we were home all day for Christmas Eve, (poor Jeremiah had a stomach bug so we didn't go to Christmas Eve service at church.) We made a fire in our fire pit out back.  Then Christmas morning was so fun!! We opened lots of presents, played games and watched new movies.  Then the reason for the delay on this post, Nathanael got sick....  Then we all went to Bed, Then mom got sick, then Adley got sick and then Daddy got sick.  Boxing day was a SLOW day for us, more easy games and movies.  But today we're on the mend, and we were all able to eat our breakfast. :)

We're excited for more Vermont Christmas fun, to Memere's and Papa Kings Friday, and to Grampie & Nana's on Sunday!

Christmas FUN!

We are having a wonderful month of Christmas.  We set up our little tree in our room. Our stockings are up. Our wreath is up.  We've already been to 2 parties, (Mom has been forgetting the camera...I don't know why. :) )  Our AWANA groups made ornaments, and our Homeschool Co-Op party we had carols, and lunch and crafts and gym time.  It was a blast.  We LOVE to make cookies, which means eating lots of dough and licking all the spoons a lot of times.
We got our tree on Sunday and decorated it last night....photos to come.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.  We went up to Great Aunt Elaines for lunch.  We had fun playing with Mia and Devon.  Then to Grandpie's for a sleep over.  We played board games.  On Friday we played with the animals and took a nice walk in the woods.  Then back home.  On Saturday we had a fun trip to Grandpa's and Grandmas.  We got to see our Texas cousins, boy did we have a blast!!

A ride on the Mayflower!

Today we took a voyage on the Mayflower.  We all got dressed up like sailors...there must have been spiders.  We learned it was a very rough journey of 65 days.  It was crowded, and leaks needed to be sealed (which we colored some cracks with water leaking in.)  We are finishing decorating our ship now.

OK actual snow this time!

We got out first thing this morning to play in this wonderful snow.  We made/destroyed many snowmen.  It's 8:30am and we're back inside...it's pouring rain outside.  Bye bye snow....till next time.

First Snow! The 7th of November!

Well it's the first snow, and it was just dusting when we went out.  We know we will loose it by tomorrow so we thought we'd go for it.  And yes we enjoyed some hot cocoa after our jaunt in the snow.  And our bird feeder is out, lets see if we have some birds tomorrow.

Time to Vote!

Hope you all get out to vote today!   We went out to help mom cast her vote.  And the voting ladies gave us little chocolate bars for bringing a voter to vote. :)  Then we played at the playground where our voting precinct is.  And then we went to Dunkin Donuts.  We liked to point out all the people who had their 'I voted' stickers on.  And of course we made the table of little old ladies smile.

Power's Back ON!!

So 7:30 tonight our power is back on (it went out 3:30pm on Monday).  The tree was still in the road and the crew outside, but our part of the street was back on!!!  It was quite a site to see a tree on a roof, on a car and in the road.

Yard Work!

We helped doing some yard work on Saturday.  We helped rake the leaves out front, and 'danced' on the top soil Dad put in the holes in the lawn, to flatten it.  We're good dancers.

Now it's time to prep for hurricane Sandy, let's see what this storm brings us on Monday morning.  The News hypes everything up, it's a category 1 hurricane...just barely.  But we should have some good wind.

Boston!

Oh, we forgot, we took a field trip to Boston.  We climbed  Bunker Hill monument, (296 steps), and toured the U.S.S. Constitution.  Very fun day.

18m Check-Up!

So I had my 18m check-up today, I'm 35 inches tall (97th percentile), and weigh 30lbs and 14oz (93rd percentile.)  Two shots in my arm today, and I hardly cried, I'm a tough buddy.  My doctor says I'm the size of a 2 1/2 year old.  Must be why mom has already had to pack up some of my smaller 2T & 24m clothes.  Yah I've got a few 3T shirts in my closet. :)

I'm taller than Nathanael at 18m by only 1/2 inch, and taller than Adley by 1 inch.  I'm heavier than Adley was at 18m by 3lbs, and heavier than Nathanael by 3 1/2 lbs. (I just barely beat my brothers 2 year weights.)...

Wow I'm a tank. :)

Time to get big, I want to play with those brothers.

Last Weekend!

We had a blast at Memere's and Papa Kings.  We had a sleep over while mom and dad went over night and hiked a mountain   We thought we'd put their pictures up on our blog.  I know we're so nice.  We helped Memere and Papa King bring in wood with the tractor...super fun.  And we helped bring in the last of the garden goodies.   We LOVE going up north.
We are supposed to have a low of 20 degrees tonight....brr.  We're all wearing footie jams in this house tonight.

Apple Picking!

ON Friday we had a wonderful day picking apples.  Dad took half day to pick with us too.  The weather was great and we picked a whole peck of apples.  Good thing we had Dad's muscles to carry that heavy bag out of the orchard. :)

Rodger Williams Zoo!

What a beautiful day we had at the zoo today!!  We saw lots of animals and we played in the sprinkle park.  We picked up some McDonald's on the way home.  We love Donalds!!  (more photo's)

Update again!!

Wow, we're doing a bad job with our blog.  OK here goes the update again.  (we had a fun pool date with our friends before labor day, that's what those photos will be.)
Our camping trip was perfect and super fun.  We drove to Grandma & Grandpa's on Friday for lunchtime.  Then we drove to camping on Hammanaset in CT on the beach.  We pitched our tents, then loaded up the bikes to drive to the beach.  The water was perfect the waves were fun, but salt in your mouth and eyes is BAD.  Then back to camp for dinner.  The next day Adley & Jeremiah were up for about 6am.  So mom took the 2 guys on a bike ride.  It was a gorgeous morning.  Then back to camp for some breakfast.  Jeremiah needed a nap, so mom took Jeremiah & Nathanael for a bike ride.  After a little snooze, everyone went to the beach.  The weather was hot, the water was nice.  What a great time.  That afternoon the big guys walked around the campsites to go and climb the AWESOME climbing tree.  We made friends with the campers nearby, they were nice, we were way up in the tree.  Then Nathanael and mom and Grandma zipped back to the beach to cool down (it was a hot day.)  Then back to Uncle Davids campsite for the big family BBQ.  YUM.  Then back to sleep in our tents.  Sunday morning, Jeremiah was the first one up again, so mom back packed him for a sweet walk in the sunrise.  Then back to camp Dad took Adley on a ride.  We all made it back to the beach in the morning, then back to unpack and go home.  It was a super time!!  (Photo's soon)

This past week seemed very busy...must have been for mom then.....we stared our Co-Op this Friday, (we call it school at church.)  We all have classrooms, and now mom is Adley's teacher, for art class & science class.  Adley also has a math games class.  Nathanael has a pre-K/K class that does lots of fun things.  Nathanaels favorite is gym time.  Jeremiah is in the nursery, but will probably graduate to the toddler room after New Years.

Saturday Adley started his soccer season.  He had a great time with the kids and played a 'game' for the last 30min.  He's on the orange team again this year.  He has a great time with that. He and Dad bike down to the field.

My 6 Year Check-up!

I had a great check-up today...no shots!!!  I am 49" (90th percentile) and 46lbs 13oz (56th percentile).  I grew 3" this year and 4lbs.

Our girlfriends Birthday Party!

We had a very fun time at our girlfriends birthday party, Madelyn is 5, and Katelyn is 7 (the two girls with 2 pony tails.)  We had a blast, and Jeremiah jumped in a bounce house for the first time.   He had a great time too, just trying to stand and wanting to bounce like us.  These 2 sisters also have a sister Jeremiah's age.  He and Jocelyn play very cute together.

Adley's Birthday week ++

We finished up Adley's Birthday week with a fun 2 day stay at Memere's 16th & 17th.  We had a super time, some pool, bikes, walks in the woods.  We picked a mega-ton of Blueberries....we LOVE em'.  What a great trip...(I'm a little behind in my posts.)

VT trip!!! SOOOO FUN!!

What a fabulous VT trip.  We went up to Mom's Ma Taunte Lou's for a combination party.  Wedding shower and graduation party, (a surprise on the wedding shower) and a baby shower....lot's going on up there.  There was a super fun bounce slide, and quite a party.  Then to Grandpa's for a sleep over.  We picked blueberries, relaxed, played in the river.  What a fun trip.

My Birthday Golf Party!!

What a very fun Birthday party.  Me and a bunch of my friends went to Dino Golf.  We played a fun game of golf, had some pizza, and dino cupcakes, and then played around the course for a little longer.  Me the and guys found frogs in the golf ponds, we caught a bunch of them, (and let them go.)  Having a blast turning 6.

Happy Birthday to ME!!

What a fun birthday, and I get to have a birthday week even. :)  We had a playgroup in the morning with some yummy birthday treats.  Then I had swimming lessons and we told my teacher after class that it was my birthday and she sang Happy Birthday to me.  Then MaTaunte Andrea came over for dinner and fun, and Grandma & Grandpa came for cake & ice cream.  I'm 6 years old!!!!

Vacation Bible School!

What a super fun week of Vacation Bible school.  We went to the National Parks this week, Adley was on the Beaver team, and Nathanael was on the Rabbit team.  Jeremiah hung out with his friends in the nursery, and mom was with the moms.  So we all had a fun place to go.
We sung songs, made crafts, did activities outdoors.  What a blast!!

This week we begin our swimming lessons, we're very excited!  We'll be fishes next!

Lego Club & Sport Camp!

God Bless America!! Look what I made in Lego Club.  This one was very challenging, because we had to scrounge for multiple smaller blocks to make 'bigger blocks' on our sheet, so it was a little crazy, but we finished it.

Also I've been at sport camp all week, and it's been very fun.  I am going with my friend Nicholas.  I'll have to get a picture of the both of us with our camp shirts.

15 Month Check-Up!

I had my check-up today, I weighed 28lbs 9oz (90th percentile) and was 33 1/2 inches long (95th percentile.)  I'm doing great, had 3 shots...but thankfully we came home and had ice cream sandwiches which makes things much better all around.

I'm dropping in my percentile points...not topping the charts anymore. :)

So I'm 3 lbs heavier and 1/2 inch longer than Nathanael at his 15 month check-up, and 2 lbs heavier and 1 inch taller than Adley at his 15 month.

NY trip!

What a fabulous trip to Schroon Lake NY for our 4th of July celebration.  We partied with Auntie Bee, Uncle Ben, cousin Ethan, Grandma and Grandpa.  We drove up after dinner the 3rd of July.  It takes 4 hours to get there.  It went OK.  On the 4th we went to the town beach in the morning. Then after lunch played at cousin Ethan's while Jeremiah and Ethan napped.  The neighbor Michael was 5 years old too and we spend a lot of time playing with him while we were at the house.  Then we went into town for the parade, and we got lots of candy.  YUM!  Then back to the house to chill until we went back out for the fireworks.  They were great, we were a bit tired by that point, but we stuck it out.  Next day we climbed Severance mountain.  Adley had climbed it 2 times before and Nathanael one time before.  Kind of a tradition to climb the mountain every trip.  It's 1.2 miles and a bit steep, but we can see Schroon Lake so great up there.  Once down the mountain we went home for lunch, and hung out at the house for naps.  We biked around the neighborhood, found some wild raspberries and black raspberries..yum. Grandma and mom played some street tennis. Then for dinner we went to the campground for a steak/chicken nugget dinner.  It was yummy, and they have a fun playground to play on.  After that we went to play tennis at the courts so we could make room for ice cream.  We went to the softy ice cream place, YUM!  Then back home.  The big guys and Dad slept in the tent, but not before a fun campfire and S'mores.  On Friday we went to the town beach in the AM, then home for lunch and packed up to go home.
We were pooped but had a fabulous time!!!

Barbrie 4th of July party!!

A fun time was had, and LOTS of delicious BBQ food, at Grandma's and Grandpas for the family 4th of July picnic on the 1st of July.  We ate, we played in the kiddie pool, we rode around with Grandpa on the ridding lawn mower, we got to see our California relatives, and some fun fireworks and glowsticks to boot.  Uncle Nicki brought his accordion, there was a trumpet, and some fun songs were played.  We had a blast!

Fabulous Trip to VT!!

What a super fun trip to Memere's and Papa Kings.  Check it out!!  We drove up Monday and arrived after dinner.  Our first day Tuesday was very cool and rainy.  So Memere and Papa King took us to the Montshire Science Museum.  We had a blast.  There was so many thing to explore inside, and there was a water area we enjoyed in the afternoon.  We didn't have a change of clothes so we went home in our underwear or diaper.  The rest of the day was rainy, so we chilled and watched a movie at Memere's.  On Wednesday, still cool and rainy, we went to Pepere Campbells for a fun visit.  We got to watch Wheel of Fortune with him, have lunch and play some cards.  We had fun.  Then to Grammie Lafonts to check out her new trailer, and to visit.  It was a fun/busy day for us.  Then back to Memere's, and the rain let up a bit to play some ball and ride bikes in the yard.  Thursday was going to be our pool day.  The pool was 68 degrees in the morning, and the sun could not burn off the clouds.  But we persisted in getting in the pool.  The afternoon was hot and sunny and we spent the whole time there.  Just warming up with a towel now and then.  The pool did climb to 70 degrees by the end of the afternoon.  Very Very fun.  Now were back home and enjoying the day together.

Strawberry Picking!

Engagement Party/Camping!! Fun Fun

We had a fabulous first camping trip of the summer.  We went to Layton NJ for uncle Daren's & soon to be auntie Halley's engagement party.  It was a bit of a drive, but mom had a bag of fun which made things OK.  Our trip was 4 1/2 hours.  But we had some stops.  We stopped at Grandma's and Grandpa's which is just over an hour.  Great Grandma came too.  Then it was 3 more hours to the party.  The place was very nice.  there were lots of yard games, a tennis court, volleyball, crochet, corn hole and a ladder ball game that was fun.  Cousin Ethan came too, and Uncle Nicki.  We played and ate all day long.  We set up our tent, had some glow sticks, some smores and there was some fireworks someone brought too.  We went to bed late. The next morning we had a nice breakfast at the house, then were off home.  WE stopped for lunch and went to a Tank museum.  It was neat to see the big machines, and some WWII stuff, guns and things.  Then next stop Grandma's and Grandpa's to stretch our legs, and then home.

Baby Shower! (Last weekend)

We had a fabulous time at our girlfriends new baby brothers shower last weekend.  The party was family style at our friends church.  A fun BBQ and lots of fun games.  A balloon toss that Adley and Dad did, a pie eating contest with 3 levels, one for Adley's age, Nathanaels age and Jeremiah's age.  Wow that was fun, and tasty, we didn't win any levels but Jeremiah almost won...because he did so awesome....  The last event was a pinata.  We  took home so much delicious candy.  A fun time was had by all.

How we weigh!

So Jeremiah loves to walk around the house with the bathroom scale.  So mom thought it would be fun for all of us to stand on it.  And what we recorded was pretty fun.  Jeremiah weighs 29lbs, Nathanael weights 39lbs and Adley weights 49lbs.

Anyway we thought that was fun!

Happy Memorial Day!

We enjoyed watching the Town Memorial Day parade with our favorite friends, Will & Colin.  Grandma and Grandpa came up to enjoy with us, then we BBQ'ed and took a bike ride on the town bike path.  What a fabulous day!!

College Friends Playdate!

What a fun Friday we had. Mom got together with her college girlfriends and their kids. It was a fun day of all boys to play with. (Of course the picture really only shows us OK, but the water table was a blast. And then Adley and Nathanael used the hose a ton for fun. :) We got to play with our British friends Henry and Charlie, and our NH friend Little Nick (little only because we know a big Nick), and all this fun was had at Evans house, (soon to be a big brother ..another little boy.) School is ALL Done!

We've had a great school year and we finished yesterday!! We started August 31st, (because we wanted to start a day early...we were excited!) And finished yesterday May 15th. We didn't have Feburary break or April break, or teacher professional days like the public school. And if you ask me we WIN! :) We had a few days off here and there, and over Christmas break, pretty much if Dad was at work we had school. However first thing today, we got our backpacks out and played 'going to school' and mom was our teacher. So I guess we'll always be students, all year anyway. :) What will we do today? We don't know. Another wet rainy day! Love, The 2 big school guys!

4 Year Check Up!

Hello friends, today I had my checkup, and I am 42 inches tall (83rd percentile) and 38 1/2 lbs (71st percentile). I'm taller than Adley was at 4 years old by 1 inch, and we weighted the same amount. I got my eyes & ears checked, and I checked out great. Everything is great, but I had 2 shots, and had to go get blood taken to check my lead levels. Yah I didn't want any more ouches, but I was brave. I'm home and playing crazy with my brother so it didn't really phase me. I'm tough!! Love, Nathanael

Rainy Day Blues?

Not in the Philips house. It was dry all morning, but we didn't want to play outside. We would rather help mom clean, she loves that. (We windex, pledge and wet mop floors..for free. :) ). Then we saw it was raining outside, so we wanted umbrellas and our rain boots. We ended up with a bucket in the drippy eves, we'd fill up a bucket and splash it on each other. We got so soaked but had a blast. Mind you it's 65 degrees outside...so now we're in a warm bath. Fun Fun!! Love, The 3 crazy guys! (Jeremiah too, but minus the buckets being splashed on.)

My Lego Club!

I had my first Lego club today! It was so fun to make these creations with my friends. It's a homeschool online club, just for me. Nathanael and my friend Will liked to watch/help. Check it out I made some Mario characters. Wait till next month for the next Lego club! Fun Fun!! Love, Adley

McDonalds Play Place!

So we went to McDonalds today, with a play place. And I LOVE climbing in the tubes. I wanted to climb up high with the brothers but could not get up the first 'up'. So there was a different low tube that went to a 'peek'a'boo' pipe. And I LOVED that. And I was singing in the pipes, talking to all the big kids. I know what to do, I've got big brothers. So fun, now I need a nap, Love, Jeremiah

Nathanaels Party!

We had a fabulous Cars Party for me, now I'm 4 years old. Well actually today is my last day of 3, but the party starts today. We had a Cars2 party, and my cake was Finn Mcmissel. I had my 3 girlfriends over and 2 of my boyfriends, Adley had 2 friends over and Jeremiah had one friend. So we had a super fun time. So watch out! I'm 4 years old, and tomorrow is MY day! Mom let me pick chocolate donuts for breakfast, and I have an orange cake with chocolate frosting for dessert for the family. Have I told you I love chocolate and orange? Well Happy Birthday to ME! Patriots Day

We had a fun HOT day today (we got 90 degrees in April...)

This morning we watched live coverage of the Boston Mathathon while we did school, yah mom really works us hard huh? :) Well we'll be done mid-may!! We were cheering for the wheelchair guy with the sweet wheels...we missed the end, we hope he won. We saw the 'fast' men start..and then another HUGE group of people, and shorty another HUGE group of people. Here are some fab stats, 91 countries are represented, and about 26,000 people ran it....crazy.

Then we went to the beach for the afternoon and had a blast. We were there for 3 hours, Adley was swimming underwater, Jeremiah was 'bear' crawling in the shallow part, and Nathanael was bringing buckets of water as fast as he could to make a sweet river down the sand. A fabulous time was had by all!

Happy Easter!!

Hope you all have a Blessed Easter!! He is Risen!!!

We had a fun time this week, decorating Easter Eggs, mom videoed but said the video is not as exciting as when things are about to tip over and make a mess all over the place. :)

Today we worshiped the Lord in Church with Grandma & Grandpa! Then home to collect eggs in the back yard for an egg hunt. Then breakfast for lunch..mmmm... a nice big ham! Then a fun day with family!

I'm BIG, 33" tall (99.5 percentile) and 26lbs 11oz (92 percentile).

So I weigh more than Nathanael at 15m, and more than Adley at 15m.
I'm taller than Adley at 15m, and the same as Nathanael at 15m.

So I'll be 1 on Sunday, and I had my first Birthday Party today!! And Jeremiah was a bull frog, hence the sweet frog cupcakes. Yum Yum!! I had fun today with my girlfriend Jocelyn, and her big sisters Katelyn and Madeline! My brothers had fun too, they really like those girls.

Jewels

Last week we were studying jewels, and we created some beautiful Jewels for Mom's flower garden. We picked rocks we liked and we painted them to perfection.
It really adds a lot to the garden, since jewels are very valuable. Especially ours,

Limestone Quarry!

We had a sweet hike through the Limestone Quarry in Chelmsford. Since we saw the granite quarry at Memere's, we'll have to take her to our old limestone quarry too. :)

Camping....we're ready!!

We've got our camping chairs all ready!! And we had a fabulous day playing in 75 degree weather, what a fabulous summer preview. And Jeremiah says "Peek-a-boo"!!

Summertime....wait it's only March!!

What a gorgeous Monday, it reached 70 degrees!!! We had a blast in our backyard. A simple 'sink or float' experiment reached a fun end....did the last items sink or float? you be the judge!! :)

Beautiful day!

We had a fabulous day taking a walk in the town forest near our house. The trails are all colored different colors, and we LOVED to check out the map. We started blue trail, to red trail, to yellow trail back to blue. We had a blast!!

Snow Day!!

We're so excited for a snow day. Went North to Memere's and Papa Kings to get some snow action, and to see all the animals there too...it's like a nature farm. :) We LOVE to play up there, and we got some sledding in.

So today we are SO excited to get our "snow on" today at our house. Better get it in because it probably will melt soon.

Birthday Valentine Fun!

Last week was busy, and fun. Mom had a birthday, we had some valentine fun, our friends had a birthday and we got to go to Friendlies for it. YUM Ice cream is sooo yummy. Memere came to visit us on Valentines day. We went to Grandpa's on Saturday. We've had a blast!!

Let it snow!

We're so ready for some snow, now it's just chilly outside. We hear it's going to snow while we sleep, then rain all day and be messy. We're just a little anxious for winter to get on with it. :)

Dentist

So Nathanael had his first Dentist visit on Monday and he did super. Both us big guys have perfect teeth, mom went today and so does she. We even got prizes for doing so well. The dentist said this is the year for Adley to have a loose tooth and for a 6 year molars, so here they come. Nathanael has mom's bite. :) Adley has super close front teeth, not like mom, so when his big guy teeth come in.....watch out...there will be no room. :)

9 month Check-up!

Yah I'm beefing up nicely. I'm weighing in at 25 lbs 14 oz (98th percentile) and am 31 inches long (99th percentile). My pediatrician said I weigh as much as an average 20 month old. Nice. I had to have blood drawn for my lead test. Full on blood drawn....but it went well. (seems crazy to mom - Nathanael had to have his done at 3 years old. Different pediatricians office I guess.)

This is how I'm measuring up to the big brothers. I'm as long as Adley was at 1 year old...and I weigh more than he did at 1 year old. Nathanael beats me at his 1 year measurements by half and inch. I do weigh 1 oz. more than Nathanael at his 15 month.

Look Who's 9 months old!!

So I'm 9 months old as of New Years Day. And mom decided to cut my hair. Wait till you see a better pic of my new hair cut....just to keep you waiting.

Happy New Year!!

Our new years eve consisted of picking up mom from the airport from her trip to Mexico. Then we had Domino's pizza for dinner. Nothing too wild, but some bubbly apple juice...(it was yummy).

New Years Day was 50 degrees and boy did we enjoy it outside. Adley got a Big scoot for Christmas so the big boys took a ride in the neighborhood. Then Dad and Adley took a bike ride in the woods. Adley did great on his first mountain bike adventure on his big 2 wheel bike. When they got home Adley came to tell mom. "Hey mom guess what? I went mountain biking and my bike is all dirty." He was so proud, and should be, he did great!
