So it was time for haircuts, and  mom was ready for the usual longer style haircuts, but all the boys went for the buzz, like back in the day.  New year, new hair style.

Merry Christmas 1 & 2

What a super great Christmas so far.  We've had 2 Christmases with 2 more to go. :)  Christmas Eve we had our friends the Hornbacks over for afternoon appetizers, then we all went to church together.  Once back home we watched some Christmas shows until it was time for bed.  Christmas morning we got lots of fun presents.  Adley's favorite was the Batman lego set, Nathanael loved his monster sticker book and a gravity maze, and Jeremiah loved his dino sticker book and a new playmobile dragon set.  We got to play with our new things all day.
Friday we went to Grandma & Grandpa's.  We got to play with all our cousins, 8 boys altogether ages 2 months to 10 years old.

We got lots of new presents and we had a cousins sleepover all spread out in the living room.  Adley loves Grandpa's dog lady.  The weather was so nice we played outside a lot too.  What a super fun Merry Christmas!

Wow, lots of things!!

Well we've been busy this Christmas season - here's a bit of our adventures.

There was a Gingerbread festival at our library last Saturday - we decorated gingerbread men, and read gingerbread books, and made gingerbread crafts.

On Tuesday the 9th - my cast came off.  I'm doing great moving my arm around gently while I finish up healing.  We got to see my bones - I got another x-ray.  My bones are looking great!

We're studying France in school - mom and I made an Eiffel tower!!

Today we are making sugar cookies - they are all baked, time for decorating later.  And more photo's of course.  Most of Jeremiahs angels have no head....kind of like photographs mom remembers when she was little.

It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas!

Our sweet tree is UP!

Our sweet wreath is hung, the house is mostly decorated, we've recieved a couple Christmas cards, we've got two sweet Advent calendars, BUT, our snow is all gone.  We don't know when it's coming back.

BUT, Ma Taunte Andrea came over for a visit, and we had a blast - we took her for a ride on our ship.

If there is no snow, then we'll just have to make more cookies to make up for it.

First Snow!

We've been looking forward to snow on the forcast for a while now.  We're excited to have played in our dusting of snow.  We made snow balls, and a snow man on this tree. :)  We're hoping for more snow for more fun.  Let's see how much we end up getting today!

Jeremiah WINS!!

Jeremiah won the Market Basket Halloween coloring contest for 2-4 year olds, and won a $50 gift card to ToysRUs.  Mom asked him if he wanted to buy light sabers for himself and his brothers, and pick out a special toy for himself.  He was excited about the plan, and so were the big brothers.  The packages all arrived today so were battling the universe Jedi style this evening.

While all the boys were coloring for the contest the big brothers had commented on Jeremiah's great coloring.  I guess the staff at Market Basket felt the same way.

Jeremiah also got a T-rex that transforms into a truck.

I broke my elbow! :(

I picked out a sweet maroon cast, that I'll be wearing for 4 weeks.  It all started Friday night at a playplace - pizza party.  I hurt my arm there, so we went to the hospital to fix it.  Well the Dr. tried to fix it like my previous elbow dislocations (nursemaid elbow), but that did nothing, then x-rays and there was nothing broken, so he cranked my arm again (to try to reset the nursemaid elbow.) but It didn't work, and hurt a lot.  So they sent me home in a sling, to wait until Monday to see the Orthopedic Doctor.  It was an ouchy weekend, trying to keep my arm still or it hurt.  Monday we went to the orthopedic Dr.  He looked at the x-rays said I broke my elbow, but it was a break that didn't need any adjustment just a cast...and I picked a maroon one.  Now I'm 'invincible'...well that's what mom told me, so I've said it a few times.
So far so good with this cast thing...but I've got to keep it dry for 4 weeks....

Trick or Treat!!!

We had a BLAST Trick or treating tonight.  We took a different route throught the neighborhood - less walking more houses.  We WIN, and we were home by 7:30. :)

Adley was Bobo Fett (Star Wars Bounty Hunter), Nathanael was Darth Maul (Star Wars bad guy as well.), and Jeremiah originally planned to be Darth Vader, but change his mind to Batman for tonight!!

Sink or Float??

Ha, just kidding, we weren't really playing sink or float.  On our way home from the playground, our neighbor had some free stuff by the road.  Water guns were some of them.  So we stopped for a pick-up.  So once home, mom filled a bin of water for us, and she was so generous to make it a bit warm.  We decided to sit in the bin.  So mom fulled us each a bin.

Pumpkin Carving!

Check out our pumpkins for this year.  Nathanael picked Mario, Jeremiah - Boo (from Mario) and Adley - Yoshi (again from Mario.)  We're so excited how our pumpkins turned out.  Adley even traced all of his Yoshi, and cut out a few of the pieces by himself.

Also our costumes are all Star Wars themed....it will be GREAT!

First top tooth lost!!

Hey, I lost my first top tooth, after Jeremiah sat on my face and made it extra loose.  The one right beside it is also very wiggly.  Mom says soon I'll be singing "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth."  But I don't know if that's a real song.

Gorgeous Fall Weekend!

The leaves are falling, so we had a sweet pile of leaves in the back yard.  And check out our shed.  Mom and Dad stained it on Saturday.  We just need doors and to side the last gabel.

New Play Place in town!

So today mom went to the library, and noticed some balloons and music in the newly constructed building across the street from the library.  After going home and typing in the signs name: Lock Ness children's play center - she found out today was the grand opening, and everyone could come for free to check it out.  So after Grandma & Grandpa came over to build the shed, and after lunch, Grandma came with us to visit this new play place.  We LOVE it, and it's right in town, and mom bought us a monthly pass.  We had a BLAST!!!

Look who lost his first tooth!

So I got all tucked in and ready for bed.  Just 5 minutes later I came out of my room with my first lost tooth in hand.  Boy am I proud to have lost my first tooth.  I'm so excited to tell my friends tomorrow when we meet up for a lunch play date at a park.

Applesauce!

We LOVE applesauce.  Memere picked us a big bag of apples.  We love to use the apple peeler and corer. Adley pretty much peeled and cored all the apples so we could make 5 quarts of applesauce.

Parrish Wedding Celebration Weekend

What a fabulous weekend we just had.  Friday night we went to Grampie & Nana's for a sleepover.  Grampie had the tramp-o-line set up for us.  And there was lots of fall leave all over the place to jump around in.  Then off to Jay Peak for the wedding weekend.  Saturday morning, we got checked in, and went to the indoor water park.  What a blast.  We swum and slid all morning long, then went for lunch at 2pm.  We at lunch and chilled in our sweet hotel room, while we waited for 'celebration time.'  The kids had a sweet pizza party to go to, while the adults went to the wedding fun.  We had a BLAST.  When mom and Dad came to pick us up, we had no shirts on and we were waving them around our heads like laso's and dancing.  What a party.  The next day we went back to MaTaunte Lou's condo for breakfast (or as Aldey says - for tree climbing.)  Then after a full belly of breakfast, back to the water park.  Another super fun time swimming and playing.  We loved the hot-tub, lazy river and blue tube slides the best.  Sunday afternoon at 3:00, it was time to drive home.  What a blast.

Apple Pickin'!

Fun day at Parlee farm, picking apples, wagon hay ride, hay maze, feeding goats & bunnies, and scoping out all the pumpkins for sale. (We did not buy our pumpkins today, we just like the huge field of them. :)

We're Building a Shed!

We're building a shed, and the boys love the idea of a triple bunk bed. (see the levels. :) )

First Day of Co-Op!

(This is how we get pictures with back-packs like everyone else. :) )

What a sweet first day of Co-Op.  Jeremiah had a great Pre-K day, with his class.  He has class in the morning, gym (today was play on the playground day), snack, then the final class.  Nathanael and Adley started their day with mom as 'one' of their teachers.  It's a 'read a story' then do activities based on the story.  Mom is the art teacher and the other teacher does the English/Geography activities  It went great.  Then the big guys go to 10 min snack.  Mom has to pack for a quick bite snack and a juice box.  Then off to gym class.  The final class Adley goes to Missions, and Nathanael joins mom in a Science class.  What a great first day!

8 Year Check-up!

Today I had my 8 year check-up.  I am 52 inches tall (75th Percentile) and 60 lbs (In the 65th percentile).   I'm 6 lbs heavier & 2 1/2 inches taller than last year.  Everything went great.

Labor Day Camping Adventure!

What a blast our vacation was see our pictures.  We drove up to Aunti Bee & Uncle Ben's (4 hour drive) on Thursday.  First things first we climbed the sweet tree in their front yard.  We biked the neighborhood, had pizza for dinner - and played at their super fun playground - which now has a pirate ship to climb on.  ARRHHH!

Then, on Friday we went to the Great Escape.  Wow did we have a blast.  We rode so many rides.  Adley and Nathanael were able to ride a few 'big guy' rides too, while the little guys rode the Big Trucks.  Adley, Nathanael and Mom went on the watersides with tubes.  Nathanael was just barely 48 inches so we were able to go.  The boys didn't want to stop - it was so much fun, we we needed to catch up with the rest of the crew playing in the kids swim area.  Then we were off to the Carousal and the Log ride.  Fun was had by all.  We had some McDonalds drive though and went back to Aunti Bee's and Uncle Ben's to grab our camping gear - meet up with Grandma & Grandpa - and go Camping.  That night we had dinner at the campground.  We biked a ton around our site.  We biked to the playground in the campground to play after dinner.  Ethan and the Philips boys all slept in our tent after some S'mores....the s'mores before bed could be part of the reason the boys took a while to fall asleep.

Then Saturday morning - a delicious eggs and bacon breakfast.  Then we hiked Severance Mountain.  We've now hiked it 4 times...well Adley has been up 4 times, Nathanael has been up 3 times, and Jeremiah has now been up it 2 times.  500 feet climb - 1.2 miles each way.  The boys did great. (Jeremiah got a bit of a ride on Daddy.)  Then down the mountain and we packed up some lunch sandwiches to ride the pontoon boat around the Schroon Lake for lunch.  We stopped the boat in the middle of the lake and Adley, Nathanael, Grandma, Uncle Ben, Dad and Mom jumped off the boat to cool down. Then back to the campsite.  We biked to the campgroun pool.  Adley and Nathanael loved jumping off the diving board.  Uncle Ben had the biggest splash canon ball we've ever seen.  We had dinner then played by the pond.  Adley & Nathanael learned how to fish from Uncle Ben - he taught them some moves.  Then off to have some ice cream.  By now everyone is slowing down, so off to bed.

Sunday we got up and showered, then were off to Uncle Ben & Auntie Bee's to relax, and say clean - before church.  We liked to see their church, it was a great service.  The day turned rainy after that, so back to Auntie Bee's and Uncle Ben's for lunch.  Then we stayed there to play while the Dad's went back to the campsite to clean up.  When Dad was back we headed home about 3:45 - we were home for 8:00, to have a quick dinner and off to bed.

What a wonderful super fun camping adventure.  We did so many things!

First Day to the Ocean Beach!

We went to Crane Beach Wednesday after lunch (and school).  Our first trip the ocean beach this summer.  This beach was at high tide when we showed up and the waves were pretty cool.  As the afternoon went on, tide pool's showed up, the beach really 'grew'.  We took a walk on the long beach and had a blast.  We left a 6:30pm, and had local ice cream for supper.  Super super fun day.
(Well we are hungry guys, we had actual supper at home at 8:30 :) )

First Day of School for US!

First day of school went really well.  This will be a great year.
To celebrate our first day of school we went to the One Stop Fun pool with a friend.  We had a BLAST.  Mom wasn't really able to take photos.  There is a small slide in the shallow end, and Jeremiah got to the point where he could do it all by himself without his life jacket.  I think he's ready for Memere's pool next year.  The big guys (and mom once) went down the big slides in to the deep end.  What a super fun day.

Big Ball Bowling!

Saturday Grandma & Grandpa came over.  Grandpa and Dad stayed home to work on the shed.  Grandma took the rest of us out big ball bowling.  We had a BLAST. And it was dark with fun lights and cool music.  We keep asking when we can go again.  We want to show Daddy how cool it is, and show him our GREAT bowling moves.  Check out our sweet action shots.

Pavers & Climbers!

So we got our driveway 'widened' and it was cool to watch the trucks at work.

And, Adley has wanted a tree to climb in our back yard for forever.  At his party his friend Mubashire showed him how to climb the 'trees' in the backyard...now he is a champ.

Walden Pond with friends

What a fun beach day to Walden pond to swim, and catch minnows and play in the sand.  After we went for ice cream. YUM!

Weekend at Memere's and Papa Kings

Another super fun weekend.  We went up to Memere & Papa Kings Friday night.  The weather was a bit cooler than our first trip to Memere's, but we had fun playing outside after dinner.  And of course, a fun time in the hot tub.  We need a hot tub too. :) Then Saturday, we played outside, picked some veggies from the garden, brought in a couple loads of wood on the wagon.  We even hopped in the pool quick, even thought it was chilly!!  We even did a bike ride and played at the playground a bit.  We got some fireworks after our hot tub fun.  Then Sunday - yummy french toast. :)  We played outside a bit, and wondered if the day would be rainy all day.  But we went to Rood pond, and even took our boat out for a couple rides around the pond.  Back for lunch and our trip back home.

Weekend at Grampie's and Nanas!

WOW, what a super sweet weekend we had.  We went up on Saturday.  We trampolined, we rode bikes, we picked blueberries, we had a campfire, we tented in the backyard (Well Adley & Nathanael - Jeremiah thought he was up for it, but decided he'd like to sleep inside on his blue bed.).  Great Grammie came over too. Then on Sunday, we had blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup and fresh blueberries YUM!  Then more trampolining.  We went to the Pion's new camp on Echo Lake.  What a blast, swimming and paddle boating and canoeing.  We'll have to remember to add our life jackets to our VT adventures from now on....we were a bit swimming in them this weekend. :)

Wow, we're home and resting from an awesome weekend adventure - the weather was perfect.
