The Eve of Christmas Eve!

It's snow fort time! (That and we are expected to have 50 degrees and rain all day Christmas day! :( )

Jeremiah's precious snowman with a troll nose.

Adley hurdling the snow fort while getting pelted with snowballs.

Adley is a Behemoth!  He lugged some heavy big balls we made in the front lawn.

Here is the fort!  Our best one yet on square footage!

Happy Snowy Christmas!

Report Cards are OUT!

I just took a photo of his card.  All A's, what a good job he has done this Trimester!

Christmas FUN! Take 1!

What a FUN day at Uncle Dan's for our first Christmas Celebration of the year!

There was LOTS of food.  Fun times in all the snow!  Then presents of course.  But there was a Gingerbread house competition!!  Look at all this action - 4 houses in the works.

Look at all of us go!

These 3 dudes took the speedy decorative approach.

Aunty Halley really rocked her house and she took some nice time on it!

Merry Christmas!

Science Fair

Nathanael collecting data for his science fair project, a candle carousal.

The experiment had 4 candles as the top measurement....why have 4 when you can have 8!  It was challenging to count the RPM at 8!  But we succeeded in our goal.

The Science Buddy

We will fill it Monday night!  The weather will be COLD all week - who knows maybe skating Saturday...but that could be a little wishful thinking!

Today is a nice 55 degrees!

Gingerbread Men!

Jeremiah was excited about making some gingerbread men this year. Our first time.

First we had to do solve the where have the cookie cutters gone?  Well we were unsuccessful in that adventure - so we took a trip to Target for the $1 cutters.  (Now we're ready for sugar cookies next week.)  I made a new icing to put on the cookies...it was a little 'wetter' than I had hoped for.

Jeremiah is doing a great job with 'runny' icing.

So, these are our beautiful creations.  I feel like they are so 2020!
The boys say they taste GOOD!

So this is Christmas!

 We hung our beautiful wreath!

The boys put up the little tree: (and lit it!)

The boys were excited to put lights in their bedrooms.  They found all the extras..

Merry Christmas!

It's snowing now - 10 inches are predicted....it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

We put up our big tree today!

Hooray!

Thanksgiving 3!

We had a BLAST when the Parsons came over Wednesday to Friday to celebrate Thanksgiving.  Grandma even came over briefly for Friday morning enjoyment.  It rained all Thanksgiving, but we did get our football on Friday!

Cousin's VS. adults (+ Isaac)

Fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween Eve!

Here comes the snow!  We're supposed to get only a couple inches and it will turn to rain.  No sign of the rain change yet.  Poor Adley is in online classes until 2:30 - he's hoping for football in the snow - I hope the rain hold off.

Now we have a creepy clown! (Our neighbors have a good one.)

Hello Winter Jack'o'lanterns.  (Mom I remembered to bring my plants inside!)

Snow Ball Fights - the snow is just barely 'ball-able' not quite wet enough.

Once Adley was done school for the afternoon, it was football time! (I found the boots - last box I checked in the gararge...always right :) )

The winter Buds!

Doctor Appointments

Yes - we have these two dudes appointments about 6 months after their birthday - it just helps them to have bigger scores than Adley. :)

Nathanael weights 125 lbs (90th %) an increase of 22lbs and 5' 3.5" (88th %) an increase of 3 inches.

Nathanael is taller than Adley at 12 by 1 inch and heavier by 29lbs. (wow)

Jeremiah weights 79 lbs (81%) an increase of 13lbs and 4' 9.5" (93%) an increase of 3 inches.

Jeremiah is taller than Adley at 9 years old by 4 inches, and Nathanael by 3 inches.  Jeremiah weights more than Adley by 13lbs and by Nathanael by 9 lbs.

Another healthy appointment.

Adley is up next month.

Cross Country

 Better late then never.

Yes it's a bright photo!  Adley is finishing strong with his buddy behind him!

Mr. Cross Country Runner!!

So, Adley decided to go out for the Cross Country running team...not much to pick for in sports this fall (that or golf....he was not interested in golf at all. :) )

So for away meets the team only sends 7 boys and 7 girls....Adley was number 7 for the first meet Thursday Oct. 1st. He has his uniform and is ready for action.  The only way he would let me take a picture of him in his uniform is if I bought him a Blue Raspberry Coolada!  (Well I don't think I can manage that in the short time from now until tomorrow with CC tomorrow as well....I will better plan for next Thursday's away meet - if he runs fast enough to compete again.  The first home meet is Oct 15th - because of Covid each runner can only bring 2 people.  I will photo this new adventure.

Go Adley!  Go Nashoba Tech!  Go Vikings!

Last day of August!

Wow, how did that happen. August flew by like it usually does!

Today Adley got a goodie bag from Nashoba Tech welcoming him!  A bag, tee and other things.  He didn't want to put on the shirt, and doesn't like his photo taken, but here is his sign.

We also met some friends at the playground.  What a beautiful sunshiny day to enjoy with friends.  We stayed at the playground most of the afternoon.  Just felt so normal!!

We still want one more beach day, we'll keep an eye on the forecast.
