Our Fun Weekend!!

It started with some Friday night birthday celebrations for Dad.  He took us all to the Inside Out movie, then we had dinner and Birthday Cake!

Then Saturday we're off to VT to the Farm Party.  What a blast, one HUGE slide and the Frozen obstacle course bouncy house.   We were bouncing and sliding the whole time, only stopping briefly to hydrate.  We played from 2:30-10:00pm.  Yes we know how to party!!

Then to Grampie's for a sleep over Saturday night and woke up at 6am.....  We had a nice day on Sunday playing games and watching a few shows.  A rainy Sunday.  We got a nice walk in the woods when the rain let up for the afternoon a bit.  Then to Memere & Papa Kings for a Sunday night sleepover.  We got some pizza and hot tub fun.  We were still very tired and went to bed early.  Monday was another cool rainy day, but we went out a few times, once to go in the pool to say we did.  Outside temp 65 pool temp 68.  We didn't last long, and finished up in the hot tub.  We brought our favorite movie Big Hero 6 to show Memere and Papa King - they enjoyed it.  One more sleepover and we were off early to go to swimming lessons.

Strawberry Picking!! (More because we LOVE em!)

Just Things!

Wow, it must be summer, because days are flying by, we're doing lots of stuff - and not keeping up here. :)

Tuesday was an awesome Co-Op playground day, so many families came it was a blast.
Wednesday Memere came.  We had so much fun, and she brought Dunkin Donuts!!! YUM.  We played Pitchnut, Adley was getting the hang of it.  We showed Memere all kinds of cool stuff, lego creations, our rooms.  We finished with a great game of kick ball, Memere and Mom vs. us.  We won. :)
Thursday we went strawberry picking.  The picking time at our regular place was so short, that we had to try a new place, all the way up in NH.  The picking was OK, but we went with friends so it was fun.  Then we went to Chick'fil'a for lunch. They have an indoor play place, so that was fun.
Friday we made freezer Jam - YUM!  We were having an awesome water gun fight in the afternoon.  Dad surprised us coming home early, changing into play clothes and came running out the house gun loaded.
Saturday we had Guy day.  Mom went on a hike with the ladies.
Sunday for Fathers day, we went to church.  We went to a BBQ at a friend from church's friends place.  The Dad's went for a mountain bike ride, and the kids all went in the pool.  

Wow, it's been fun!

We start swimming lessons tomorrow.  And we can't wait to show off our new moves in Memere's pool.

Berkshire's Vacation....AWESOME!!

So we drove to our 'vacation house' Saturday the 6th. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom studio with an upstairs and cool 'bridge' over the living room - it was AWESOME!  Grandma & Grandpa, cousin Jayden & Owen came to visit and spent the night.  Sunday we went to the bike path for a great ride with them.  They had to leave after lunch.  Sunday afternoon we went to visit the natural bridges state park.  Very cool white marble dam, and cool caves and walkways to explore.  On Monday was a bit rainy so we went to the Berkshire museum.  It was so great - with a play/explore SPARKS area, natural science, aquarium, and art section.  It was great - we were there for 4 hours.  We had Chinese food for a late lunch/early supper.  Tuesday we were back to the bike path - we did 11 miles. It was so smooth and nice.  Then back to the vacation home for some afternoon pool fun.   Wednesday we hiked the Cobbles in Cheshire Ma. A 2 mile hike there and back again. Which is part of the Appalachian trail.  Great views!  Then off to our place for pool afternoon again.  We LOVE the pool.  Thursday we went back to the bike path to do the rest of it - another 10 miles round trip.  We planned it so we finished back to our car when the ice cream shop opened.  The cotton candy ice cream tasted like real cotton candy.  YUM!  Then we went to the mall for lunch - pizza.  And we played at the arcade for a bit.  Once back home - you guessed it, the pool.   Friday we checked out, had breakfast at Bob's diner.  Adley & Jeremiah had Mickey Mouse pancakes.  They were GREAT.  Then off to Greylock Mountain.  The highest in MA.  We drove to the top - took in the views.  Then we took a hike - the overlook trail, which was 2.8 miles and we descended, and climbed 800 ft.  We saw some views, a cool waterfall and a pond with an old shack.  Again the end of this trail was part of the Appalachian Trail - so we're pretty adventuresome.  Then it was time to head home.  So Fun!

Southwick Zoo Field Trip!!

What a BLAST!!  A great day for zoo fun and friends fun.

We had a blast with our friends!

We climbed EVERYTHING!

And when we were thirsty - we put our heads in the lions mouth!

Mom's camera card got all filled up halfway through our adventure.  We'll have to go back in the fall for more animal fun.  This zoo is great!
