Doctors Visits Today!

Nathanael and Jeremiah had their annual Doctors visits today, and here are their stats.

Nathanael went first:
He weighed 47lbs 13oz. (67th percentile) - he gained 4 lbs this year.  He was 49 inches tall (95th percentile) - he grew 4 inches.  (WOW - Adley and Nathanael were exactly the same height at 6 years old, and Nathanael weights 1 more pound than he did.)  Talk about close.  Nathanael had a great check-up and no shots.

Jeremiah went second:
He weighed 37lbs 10oz (93rd percentile) - he gained almost 5 pounds from last year.  He was 41 inches tall (97th percentile) - he grew 4 inches from last year.  He weighs 2 lbs. more than Nathanael and Adley did at 3 years old.  He is 1/2 inch taller than Nathanael was at 3 years old, and 2 inches taller than Adley was.  No shots for Jeremiah, but he did need a lead blood test, and he did so great.  The boys all got some great stickers and the nurses were super nice.

The boys were treated with Dunkin Donuts for a great check-up.

Heifer Farm Field Trip

WOW, did we have a fun day at the farm.  And so many of our Co-Op friends were there - it was a sweet field trip.  We learned a lot about what Heifer does internationally and domestically to help families support themselves with livestock.  We toured the farm...and look at those 2 buddies milking a a goat - they were naturals.  First try they got some milk.

We loved the goats - they love to eat dandelions - we fed them lots.  

It was a wonderful day of animals and friends!

Memere Came to Visit!

What a super fun day to have Memere come to visit us on Wednesday!  First thing, she brought Dunkin Donuts. :)  We wanted to show Memere everything we've been working on, reading, and the awards we got at our AWANA awards night.  Then Memere and Mom did some planting and things.  We had some lunch and took a walk to the pond.  It was a nice day for it, so nice we went to Friendlies for ice cream from the ice cream window.   And the one bench Friendlies has, was empty.  So the 5 of us enjoyed our ice cream on one bench.  Then back home to show Memere our Mario Cart Wii.  She even raced a race, but was all over the place. :)

LOTS of fun!!

Wow, we've got to go back to May 3rd!!

What a super fun vacation.  We loved and still talk about our fun trip with Memere & Papa King & MaTaunte Andrea and Mr. Seth.  The fun began at the Bridge of flowers and we saw some glacier holes as well.

Then we took the sunset walk at Fort Dummer State Park.  Then to the hotel - first stop the pool. The pool was cool and cool. :)  They had just changed the water, so it was a bit chilly, but we didn't mind so much.  Then off to Chinese Food that night, yum!  Then the big guys went back into the pool - jumping in over and over, and warming up in the hot tub.  Next morning - back in the pool.  Then to the breakfast buffet.  We has so much food for breakfast - it was YUMMY.  What a blast - then a car ride home where Nathanael and Jeremiah slept.  Super Super fun!!

Then to May 6th - Nathanael rides a 2 wheel bike - and he rides it all over the neighborhood.  He does GREAT.

Then May 11th - a fun Mothers Day - we took mom out to Chili's for lunch after church.  Then we splashed in the sprinkler during our 80 degree day.  Dad built mom a raised bed for her garden.  We took a walk in the woods, and had our first fire in our fire pit - with marshmallows.  Time to buy the fixin's for Smores next time.

We've been having a blast, feels like summer time and we love it.

Happy Birthday Party Nathanael!

What a fun day with our friends, the weather was great.  We had 8 friends at our table today. We had pizza, cupcakes & ice cream.  We whacked a bull pinata.  What a super fun sweet day.  It was a ninja turtle & star wars theme!
