NY Trip

 Wow, so much summer fun!  We've not posted in so long.  But here are the details of our NY super fun trip! Photo's to follow!

Friday the boys wanted to leave EARLY, 6:00am.  We were out of the house at 7:15...not too bad!  We had an easy drive.  Once at the Parson's - the kids biked and enjoyed with all the cousins.  After lunch we went to the town beach. Most kids biked! Friday night we had s'mores and back yard outdoor games.  Rain was schedule over night, so the cousins all slept in the basement.  They really wanted some tenting, but it just didn't work out.

Saturday morning we went to Baxter Mountain - an easy hike in the Adirondack High Peaks. 

What fun, fresh blueberries at the top!  Then we lunched at a river where we could swim, (or be refreshed because it was a crisp mountain stream.)  That afternoon the kids biked to play some tennis, and we grilled dinner in town, followed up by Stewart's Ice Cream Stand.  Saturday night more camp fire fun.

Sunday Grandma had to get Jayden and Owen home.  Us and the Parson's when to church, then put together some lunch to go to another lake with a dock to jump off and playgrounds.  We left for home at 4:00 on Sunday.

What a fun action packed long weekend!

Freshman Year in the Books!

SummerTime!!!

 We enjoyed a WPI online STEM science day.  We made Oobleck!! Cornstarch & Water - is it a solid, is it a liquid?  It's a non neutonian solution.  (And messy, but cleans up easy.)

In the basement, Jeremiah flies his helicopter and Nathanael his drone.  They fly together.

It is Finished!

We did a 1000 piece puzzle over the super rainy Memorial Day Weekend!  It took a little over a week.  It was fun!

Monday we started our Tennis lessons and tennis team at the Pool! I will send pictures soon!

Memorial Day at Uncle Dans!

We've had a HUGE Tom in our back yard with his lady.  He really fans out his feathers and gobbles a lot.

We released our butterflies....we've not seen them since.  We have one more to release tomorrow. He was a late crysalizer. :) 

On Saturday Nathanael flew his drone!

Jeremiah helped Dad install a door for the back of our garage.

(Adley helped put it in place, and take it out of the van - but that wasn't photo worthy. :) )

Sunday was a youth group field day! The kids all decorated their own shirts into 2 teams.

They had water balloons and catapults.  The kids holding the sheets had to try to catch the balloons...very hard...very funny!

Today was our first Beach day of the season!  Way to star the summer off.

Fun Things

 We've been enjoying some field trips - Adley has been enjoying some Tennis!

American Heritage Museum was AWESOME!  It covered US wars and the war machines and tons of information.

Fun Stuff

First Tennis Match!!

 Adley really enjoyed his first tennis match.  (We did not win at all).  We had 7 members on our team to the visitors 25. (So their team played many games of doubles with themselves on our 4 courts.)  BUT, Mr. Adley is number 1 on our team, so he played their best guy. (He lost 2 matches - but in that he won some games.)  We play this team again on Wednesday...
