AWANA Awards Night!

Tonight we had the AWANA Awards night.  Jeremiah finished his 2nd book of Sparks.  Nathanael got his excellent award (two Truth in Training books completed,) and Adley got his Timothy award (four Truth in Training books completed.)

What a WONDERFUL Vacation!

Early Thursday morning we drove to the airport for our awesome friend adventure.

We're packed and ready to go.

We're waiting patiently for our flight.  "What time is it now?" was the most asked question.  We knew the boarding time!

We went to church with them, and listened to Pastor Matt's sermon on Jonah.

We went to a super fun bounce place that afternoon.  Jeremiah and Dad are battling on the beam.

 Happy Birthday to this sweet 10 year old Dude!

Memere & Papa King came over to party.  Dunkin Donuts for cake.  YUM.  What a beautiful day outside, riding bikes, walking to the pond and pizza on the pic nic table.  

Nathanael was so excited to ride his bike using his new helmet and gloves, that when Dave got home they zipped off to the woods for a ride before dinner.

This dude photo bombed my cake. :)  Here is Nathanael's very Skittley cake.  It's a Mine Craft Steve.

The boys have been working on building a berm in the back woods (a small mountain to ride you bike over.)

Both dudes tried it out.  Dave too of course - and a bunch!

We went to Grandma's and Grandpa's today for bike rides, cake and ice cream.  Another super fun day!

April Vacation Week!

Yah, we homeschool, but this week we got to do lots of fun stuff.

We got a new fish - Scribely.  Well we got him last week.  He's got an orange tail - look similar to another fish we had.  Jeremiah also lost another bottom tooth recently.  

The big guys went to a special Ninja camp this week.  Jeremiah wanted to stay home with mom and play costumes, tag, capture the flag and hide and seek.  (All while wearing costumes picked by Jeremiah.)

Thursday the big guys went to MIT to a school program making flashlights.  They got to use a soldering iron to make their (twisted wire) circuits nice and smooth.  Jeremiah enjoyed time at a buddies house.  Mom enjoyed time with 2 girlfriends at MIT sipping coffee and chatting.  (It was supper snowy on the way in - so the weather wasn't great for walking around.)
