11 Year Check-Up

Adley is growing great.  He is now 58.75 inches tall (76th %), he grew 2 inches this year.  He weighs 85 lbs 10oz (63rd %), he gained 11 lbs this year.

He's excited to be 5 ft. tall - only 1 1/4 inches to go. :)

Two shots today - so a nice relaxing afternoon is in order.

Air Expo - Air Force Base!

Our Air Force Base friends invited us to an EXPO.  How Cool!

Jeremiah modeling in front of the pilot suits NASA pilots wear when they fly deep into the atmosphere.  We got to see the ship too.

There was no emergency.  The boys decided they wanted to tour the ambulance that was there for emergencies.  The Medics were happy to let us poke around.

What a FUN day.  I realized I did a bad job on photoing the outsides of these cool planes!

We have created a fire pit kingdom in our backyard like Grampie's!

We cleared the brush beside the shed - it's so fun and nice with our Tiki torches.  We love it.

Camping Adventures!

We had a blast camping Labor Day weekend.  Boy was it cold but we didn't let it bother us.  We arrived Thursday evening for dinner and some biking.  On Friday we biked a lot, there were wooded trails that were so nice the whole crew biked them - now that's a lot of cousins and adults.  Friday night we were ready for a 40 degree morning.  It was chilly - and didn't really warm up.  Saturday was nice, more biking and fun.  It was going to rain a bunch Saturday night into Sunday so we all packed up and spent our last night as a sleep over at Grandma's.  It was so nice to sleep warm, and have pancakes for breakfast, and not have to worry about wet camping gear.

First Day of School!!

We had a great first day of school on the 29th.

Jeremiah saw many friends on Facebook with cool first day of school signs so he made one today. (Day 2 actually but he's going with first day.)

This is my happy guy on day 2 - not wanting a sign but excited to be learning how to type...it's on a computer.  It's the best.

This is my football star, posing for a great first day of school photo as well as showing off his uniform.  He had his first flag football practice Tuesday evening.  His first game is the Saturday after Labor Day!  He is so excited.

Even More Fun!

On Saturday we went to Dad's work party.  There was an AWESOME ropes course there and we did tons of stuff.

Here are the ladders that Adley and Nathanael had to teamwork to the top.  Jeremiah decided he didn't want to go, so Dave did it by himself.

Adley finally got his Christmas present on the wall.  He's had the football flags - now he has a felt wall to display them and move them around (velcro) as the Sunday football games approach. 

Monday was a fun Solar Eclipse day - we had 70% coverage.
