Winter Wonderland!

 This has been a wonderfully snowy winter.  Wonderful to enjoy!

Here is our home in our winter wonderland!

 What a BLAST we had going to the cousins for a few days during school vacation week. (Well Adley had school vacation - we homeschoolers took a very skeleton approach to school this week. :) )

We arrived Sunday evening and hung out inside having a blast!

Monday we went to a fun tubing hill!

In the afternoon we went to the town ice rink.

They were short on intact supplies so we used brooms and broken hockey sticks to play a game.  Always ready to improvise.

On Tuesday we walked across Schroon Lake

The boat house was very smoothly icy! A good spot for a snack!

In the afternoon Uncle Ben pulled us around on sleds!

Jeremiah & Nathanael did pretty good on the cousins snow boards.  Adley was a little too tall for the 'short' board we had to work with.  He tried real heard though!

Tuesday evening everyone went for some night skating.  Adley and Mom stayed home to attend the virtual football meeting.  Monday 2/22 Adley will have his first practice and be fitted for a helmet and get his pads and his number!  (Mom will pay him with a Dunkin Donuts Coolada for a photo....but maybe Football is so amazing she will get the pic for free!)

We came home Wednesday 11:30 ish.  Wednesday morning was 4 degrees, so the boys enjoyed some Wii video games before heading outside one last time.

Ice Rink

 We've had a bit of an arctic freeze this week.  Good News is the rink is frozen.  The dudes had a fun afternoon playing hockey in boots!

First Basketball Game!

 

This is the only way I get a photo of him, (sneak) while he filled up his water bottle.  Go Nashoba Freshmen boys team.  They lost to Lowell Catholic 58ish to low 40's.  We were able to watch the game virtually, no sound, and we're unable to see the scoreboard.  Adley made a rebound.  Got to start somewhere.

More Christmas Fun!

 Christmas Eve we went to 4:00 church.

Christmas morning, boys set alarms for 7:00 but woke up about 6:45.  We had a fun presents time, then video games, a new movie, board games.  It was a pouring rain 60 degree day! Our rink has not been frozen well since. (Our snow fort was demolished in the rain as well.)

Sunday we went to Memere & Papa Kings for more fun Christmas.

We played games, watched a movie (the new Christmas one Abomnible - which is a new favorite.) 

Monday we took a nice walk in the woods - tried sledding but I'm not sure there was an inch out there. One highlight was wood splitting.  We LOVE it.

Then we played some music.  Super fun time.

Our Christmas week off we took a walk in the woods with a buddy we've not seen in a year.

And on New Years Eve we took a walk with our church friends.

On the EVE we stayed up until midnight playing games and watching a movie.

We had our 4th Christmas when Grampie and Nana came over today!  Fun lunch, walk, presents, and games.
