April Vacation Week!

Yah, we homeschool, but this week we got to do lots of fun stuff.

We got a new fish - Scribely.  Well we got him last week.  He's got an orange tail - look similar to another fish we had.  Jeremiah also lost another bottom tooth recently.  

The big guys went to a special Ninja camp this week.  Jeremiah wanted to stay home with mom and play costumes, tag, capture the flag and hide and seek.  (All while wearing costumes picked by Jeremiah.)

Thursday the big guys went to MIT to a school program making flashlights.  They got to use a soldering iron to make their (twisted wire) circuits nice and smooth.  Jeremiah enjoyed time at a buddies house.  Mom enjoyed time with 2 girlfriends at MIT sipping coffee and chatting.  (It was supper snowy on the way in - so the weather wasn't great for walking around.)

The Fun Dudes

Happy 7th Birthday Jeremiah!

The birthday fun started at Memere's and the maple sauna.  Easter morning Jeremiah had so many Happy Birthday's from all his cousins.  For breakfast we had pancakes and VT fresh made maple syrup. We went to church, had yummy ham lunch.  After lunch the aunts and uncles set up a super fun Easter egg hunt - 9 cousins each of them had 20 eggs, all in the back yard.  Then time for Jeremiah to blow out the candles on his cake with skittles on top.  After a light supper the Parsons came home with us.  Monday Morning we went to Lego Land and had a BLAST!  After dropping Uncle Dan and his family off at Boston airport, Grandma met us at LegoLand, and came home with us.  The cousins watched the movie Ferdinand while the adults played a fun game.  Grandma had to head home.  Tuesday morning the cousins had to head home. 
Friday we had our homeschool Co-op in the morning.  Friday afternoon 3:30 till 7:00 Jeremiah had his Ninja party!

This is an ice cream sandwich cake with whipped cream and chocolate chips...everyone loved it.

And, the afternoon was snowing like crazy!  We went out after eating!

March Fun!

Wow, what a March.  Here are some things we've been up too!

Two mega snow storms in March - we call this March madness!

We made some new weaponry.  A duct tape hand ax, and a star wars light saber, complete with sink drain for a handle from Lowes.

First day of Spring.  Jeremiah's dream was to ride his bike.  Mission accomplished.

The boys LOVED Upward Basketball this season.  This boy especially.  Jeremiah want's upward all year round.  

It's great to have a great Saturday at home, with the ability to fire up the fire pit and cook hot dogs for lunch.

Off to Memere & Papa King's for the maple sauna.  YUMMM!

The snow was great for snow men, sliding and getting muddy!

The boys LOVED their Ninjago spinners.  (They are zipping all over the place at home.)

The March Dudes

Presidential Week!

Wow, we've been having a blast!

Our Ohio friends were in town.  We had them over for a visit on Friday, we went Bowling on Saturday and on Sunday for a final evening visit.  What a blast and awesome to see them.  We got 7 inches of snow on Sunday!

Happy Presidents Day Monday - a great 55 degree day.  We were enjoying the out of doors.

Our homeschool friends have a Presidents day party after Presidents day, where we all bring something to share/present.  Jeremiah wanted some George Washington jokes (Adley was George).  George read the jokes and Jeremiah shared the answer, if the friends didn't' get it.  Some were quite cheesy, and would not be guessed.  So fun.

Nathanael interviewed George Washington, a fun script we found online.

Pools open! Ice rink closed! We had a 75 degree day! This was  the best rink draining day ever.

We took out the bikes once pool time was over.  Jeremiah did great on his bike. I think he's ready.

AWANA Grand Prix!

What a blast!

Adley ran a carrot and Nathanael ran a Minecraft mine cart.  The boys both had a couple first place runs.

FUN TIMES!!

Wow, we've been busy having lots of fun.
Sunday night was an intense evening of football, (the first half of the game with our Eagle fan friends - we went home after halftime, and we're glad for it. :) )
Monday we were off to Great Wolf Lodge. Another super fun wet time on the slides.  Nathanael and Jeremiah did the super drop ride and loved it. (Adley and Dad did it once the first trip.  Mom has still declined.)
Tuesday was the Awana Grand Prix for Jeremaiah's age.  He had a hammerhead shark car.  It got first place in a couple of heats.  No speed trophies there, but he got first place trophy for design.  He and DAD did a great job.
Wednesday morning Jeremiah lost his first tooth.
