Our Trip to Acadia

 What a FABULOUS trip!  

Sunday Afternoon we drove out there.

Sunday evening we were hit with rain and quite the thunder storm - but overall we stayed dry. The weather the rest of the time was GREAT.

Monday we biked the Carriage trails - what a beatiful trip.  That afternoon we drove the Acadia loop.

Then we drove up Cadilac Mountain.

On Tuesday we took a georgous HIKE.

Then we checked out a light house.

Then we went to a beach for a swim - beautiful.

We went out to eat - and had the NorthEast Feast: Lobsters, Clams, Mussles, and Corn.

On Wednesday we packed up camp - and took one more drive up Cadilac Mountain.

We packed a lunch to enjoy on the top.

Family Beach Day

 It was a HOT one today - and Dave had the day off. So we had our first Beach day of the year.

Arena Football!!

 We went to a Massachusetts Pirates vs. St. Antonio Gunslingers arena football game at the Tsagus Arena last night.  

The stands are not as packed as a hockey game.

But the show!  The team entered with smoke through the inflatable pirate they are putting away, lights and sounds.  Fun.

The game play was different too, the field wall is out of bounds, sometimes you go over the wall.

The game play was great.

Church Wed. Night

 Our church Wednesday night was great this week. After our dinner, we went to the sanctuary for worship, followed by our graduates.  We got to ask them questions about what they are doing next, and many questions about their faith and school experiences.

These are 4 of our 8 graduates (all guys - 3 college and 5 high school.)
