The Heat

 Jeremiah had his first game! It was a nice win 40-20, he had 6 points.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

 Wow, what a great long weekend!!

On Wednesday night, the nashoba Vikings won their Thanksgiving eve game 26-24!! What a good finish to Nathanael's football season!!

Thursday we went to Uncle Dan's for a delicious feast with family.  Christmas movies, and board games! Wahooo!

On Friday we decorated for Christmas!

Jeremiah went out to scrape snow off a car to throw the first snowball!

On Saturday this guy got his license!!

The big guys enjoyed their traditional flag football the Saturday after thanksgiving!

They are so far away! There was another group in a different area.  Adley is on the right side, back to us, in the green sweatshirt.  Jeremiah is in the center, back to us, in a black sweatshirt.

This afternoon we enjoyed Friends giving!! 3 church families enjoyed yummy food, the adults played a board game, and the youth kids started with Uno, and finished with some enthusiastic Spoons game.

So much fun!

Nathanael's Dr. Checkup

 Another Healthy Checkup!

Nathanael is 161 lbs in the 70th %, he grew 3 lbs this year. (He is 2lbs less than Adley at 16.)

Nathanael is 6' 2" in the 95th % and grew 1 inch this year. (He is the same hight as Adley was at 16.)

These guys just keep growing!

Boston concert

 18 friends from church took the subway into Boston for a fantastic concert at the TD garden, Toby Mac, Mercy Me and Zac Williams.

What a great show, and we knew so many of the songs.

Jeremiah's Doctor's Appointment

 What a healthy guy!

He is 5' 8" (he's still in the 90th percentile for height). He grew 3 inches this year.

He is taller than Nathanael at 13 by 1 1/2 inches, and is taller than Adley was by 2 inches.

He is 134lbs (in the 80th percentile) and he gained 15lbs this year.

He is 1 pound heavier than Nathanael at 13, and 20lbs heavier than Adley at 13.

Adley grew his pounds for his 14th birthday.

Adley and Nathanael both grew 4 inches in their 13 to 14 year span.  

Let's see if Jeremiah keeps that trend!!!

 On Monday these guys did a great job!

Nathanael has the spooky ghost house on the left, Adley the 3-D dog face in the middle, and Jeremiah an abstract face of his on the right.

CHS Football Band

Any interested 8th grader could go to the high school after school.  Practice a song with the high school band.  Sit with them at the football game, and perform at halftime!

Jeremiah is in the back wearing all black with 2 other 8th grade drummers.

What a cool experience!!

 They won 45-6

Jeremiah caught 2 interceptions, almost 3 but his flags fell off and needed to be taped.  He ran half the field for a touchdown - his flag was pulled right near the end zone.  But he caught the next pass for a touchdown.

(We lost 40(something) to 6), but the weather was fantastic, just a nice night out!

Cape Cod Camping Weekend (BEACH)

 What a fantastic weekend camping in Cape Cod with the Parsons and Grandma.

Our first night -after going out for pizza dinner - we took a walk into the sunset at Skaket Beach.  A beach on the bay side - so shallow with sandbars you can walk forever.

The next day we biked and explored the campground.  We went to another beach after 4:30 and brought sandwich dinner.  The waves were GREAT - but the water was COLD.  The guys mostly threw footballs and burried eachother.

On Sunday we biked to a nearby ocean beach, on the bay side so the water was warm.  Another shallow beach at low tide we had to walk far to get into the water.  The guys enjoyed some football on the sand.

Nathanael - Community College

 We toured Middlesex Community College, both campuses where Nathanael will take classes this fall.

He wanted pancakes for his birthday food so we enjoyed I Hop.

We had youth Bible study that evening so we had popciles and sang him some Happy Birthday!

 What a fun, but sweaty day, watching the Patriots practice on the practice fields near the stadium.

We enjoyed some lunch at Five Guys (burgers)

Then went up the lighthouse.  Tallest in the USA, 220ft.

To the Parsons!! Word of Life Camp FUN!

 We drove up Thursday late afternoon!

On Friday the Parson's came over and we biked to town for some tennis & the beach.

Then off to the Island for Lunch.

That afternoon the guys enjoyed the High Ropes Course

Back on the Island for a beautiful sunset.

On Saturday we went to Fort Ticonderoga.

On Sunday we went to their church. Lunch on the island, and enjoyed an afternoon on the beach before coming home.  The weather was so great - what a wondeful weekend!
