The 22nd day of Christmas!

Its Cookie Day!
We roll em' and bake em'

And decorate with lots of laughs!

And this is the mayhem that ensued. The problem with shopping for frosting the Thursday before Christmas is that there was only purple to choose from.  So thankfully we had a few choices already at the house. :)
It's lightly snowing today - maybe we can sled tomorrow!

Merry Christmas!

Days of Christmas

On the 16th day of Christmas we wrapped presents mom bought for us to use in our first ever Christmas present swap at tomorrow's party.
On the 17th day of Christmas we had a fun Christmas party at a friends house.  At the swap - Jeremiah was sad he got Hungry Hippos, Nathanael picked the present he brought - a ball maze game, Adley picked the present he got - a football helmet cup, mom got a Tim Keller book on the second half of Romans - time to get the first half so she can read up before Pastor Dana preaches on Romans this Winter, and Dad got the Pie in the Face game for Jeremiah.  Once home from the party - we loaded up the game - and played.  Jeremiah is very excited - Dad is awesome.
You crank it as many times as the spinner points to - and you see if you get pie in the face.

Yes - pie in the face!

Yes, more pie in the face!!
On the 21st day of Christmas- we wrapped our presents to the Cousins.  Now we have gifts under the tree!  It's getting so exciting!

On the 11th Day of Christmas!

The boys noticed many hungry birds flitting around on the back railing - and were figuring they were hungry for some seeds.  (Mom usually puts the feeder out first snow - it's 3 days late.)  So we filled the feeder.
And did some fun bird watching - complete with bird books.

What a gorgeous afternoon for some sledding.  The boys slid a ton - even standing on the sleds - lots of videos to enjoy - maybe mom can figure out how to publish them.
The sled stopped - Adley didn't.

The nature guys

8th and 9th Day of Christmas

On the 8th day of Christmas we enjoyed our Co-Op Christmas party.  Fun with friends - Christmas carols, and yummy food.  Adley spent most of the time outside with his buddies playing football.  Nathanael and his friends, and Jeremiah and his friends were inside and outside enjoying.  There was a game room, the gym, and crafts that none of these boys did. :)

On the 9th day of Christmas we went and got our TREE this morning before the snow storm.  It's snowing nice now.  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas now.
Snowball making time for our first snowball fight of the season.  We filled two buckets before beginning.

The snow was not great for snowmen or much else at the house so we took a walk to the pond.  We walked backwards, so no one could follow our tracks....

Adley made a delicious snowy treat.

He made Jeremiah's with chocolate chunks.

Jeremiah's Santa Snowball.

Kings of the Mountain!!

This boy is screaming in a trap.  Jeremiah is a good poster helper.

7th Day of Christmas!

We got to visit the Warrior Ice Arena - the venue where the Bruin's practice.
Look at this sweet crew who came.

Check out the size of this hockey stick.  We got a tour of the facility to start.

We got to watch the Bruins practice.
We got to skate on their ice using this 'learn to skate snowman.'  The big guys, mom and Grandma had a blast on the ice.

These guys checked out the team bench- and after that the penalty box..

5th & 6th Day of Christmas

On the 5th day of Christmas - Jeremiah got a cavity filled. :(
But he did great.

On the 6th Day of Christmas we had LOADS of fun.  First stop the Ecotarium with friends.
We spent an hour building this wonderful creations with our friends out of Keva planks.  Then we went to Mechanic's Hall in to listen to the Navy Band and eat our bagged lunch.  Next up was a Lego build at the Mall.

I really like this HUGE model of the Millennium Falcon - I think the workers said it was 8000 Legos (the largest the workers have made.)

We built Christmas Trains.  We drove them up and down the escalators before heading home.

The buddies
